When we bought this 10 acre slice of heaven in May of 2017 we did not have any plans to share it with the world. We moved to the country to get away from the hustle and bustle. It wasn't until we walked our field that we realized this would be a perfect spot for a rustic barn for events. That is when The Sugar Maple Barn idea was born. We started construction of our barn in April of 2018 with the help of an amazing "old school construction" barn builder.

So far it has been a journey and a labor of love! Now that we are open we are excited to share it with the world. We wanted to create an affordable wedding venue and to show off the beauty and the magic that we fell in love with when we purchased this property.
